Colorado Inside Out: The CBI Internal Affairs Report

On June 21st, our founding attorney Tyrone Glover, a seasoned civil rights attorney based in Denver, made another appearance on PBS12's 'Colorado Inside Out.' During the show, Glover addressed the recent findings from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) internal affairs probe into data manipulation by former CBI DNA scientist Yvonne “Missy” Woods. His comments underscored the gravity of the situation and the potential impact on the justice system.

A Breach of Trust in DNA Testing

Glover highlighted the seriousness of the findings, stating, "There's a potential that this has affected hundreds of criminal cases, ones where people are doing very significant, sometimes life sentences. […] The internal investigation is not completely released yet, but the Colorado Bureau of Investigation has released some of the highlights and it seems to be as bad as we thought, and hopefully we will be committed going forward to trying to remedy and redress some of the damage done."
